Verizon

Verizon Access Manager is used by over 30 millions Verizon subscribers to connect their mobile devices on-the-go. Its a small but powerful application that supports over 100 devices and nine operating systems. The existing application was studied and found to be bulky and overly complicated. Verizon needed a new customer facing UI and a back-end admin portal to manage devices within an enterprise setting. The new UI was designed to be smarter and anticipate the user’s needs by appearing when there was a problem and disappearing when connected and running smoothly. It was built with dynamic modules that adapted to its location and connections. Along with a simpler and more intuitive design, a new quick tip guide was created to walk users through the app features, decrease installation problems and increase usage. With the new design and guide, adoption rates increased and customer service calls for VZAM fell by 43%. A newly designed admin portal was also created to allow IT departments to manage the devices within an organization.
