At TOKYOPOP I was responsible for over 30 product lines with a retail circulation of at least 1.5 million units. Many titles were Japanese manga that needed coloring, precise color matching, a new American brand name and in some cases, extensive retouching. Some were new titles that needed their own brand platform. In every case, the work involved touch points across print, digital and retail mediums. Never have I learned more about publication and efficient production in an environment with such accomplished and skillful mentors.
